Maruti Suzuki India and Hyundai Motor India, two of the country's leading car companies, remained on the passenger vehicle market last month. The models of these two companies have been captured in the list of top ten vehicles.Maruti's seven models were found in the top 10 best-selling vehicles of last month, while three vehicles from Hyundai Motor India got their place.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Innova and Reno's Clyde failed to come in the top ten. These vehicles came in this list in June last year. According to latest figures from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Maruti's Alto Car was at number one with sales of 14,856 units in June. In June 2016, 15,750 Alto cars were sold.
