News & Business
MUMBAI: Business started in the domestic market today with a decline. In the initial trading, the Sensex dropped 190 points to 32,193.63 points. Similarly, the Nifty also fell below the 10,000 mark. The key reason behind this is that the business start up at the slowest level in the August derivative series and the quarter results of companies are not good.
Based on the 30-share index of the Bombay Stock Exchange, the stock index Sensex fell 189.67 points, or 0.58%, to 32,193.63 points. In the previous two sessions, it saw an increase of 155.03 points.

Similarly, the National Stock Exchange's Nifty was down by 53.15 points, or 0.53%, to 9,967.40. According to the brokers, despite the start of business in the August derivatives, they have slowed down due to profit-booking by the investors in recent times.
Apart from this, after two days' rise, there was a decline in the stock markets due to weak sentiment in Asian markets and not satisfactory results of the companies.
