New York: The US dollar has been stronger than other major currencies. According to the news agency Xinhua, in New York trading on Tuesday, the euro rose to $ 1.1868 compared to $ 1.1810. British pound climbed from $ 1.3218 to $ 1.3239.
The Australian dollar stood at $ 0.7976 compared to $ 0.7977. Analysts believe that the investor is in a dilemma regarding the Federal Reserve's stance whether the Fed raises interest rates again this year or not. Dio Jones has managed to cross the psychological level of 22,000 for the first time in Industrial Average history. The company's shares grew due to Apple's best quarterly results.
According to the news agency Xinhua, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 52.32 points, or 0.24 percent, to 22,016.24 in Wednesday's trade. The S & P 500 index was up 1.22 points, or 0.05 percent, to 2,477.57.
Nasdaq composites remained at 6,362.65, with a marginal weakness of 0.29 points, i.e. 0.01 percent. Analysts believe that pressure on profits can continue in the technology sector.
