Washington: Ford's North American Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Raj Nair, has been invited to the Detroit-based company's unit after allegations of abusive behavior at the workplace. The company gave the above information.

The company says Raj Nayar will leave Ford with immediate effect. This decision was made after an internal review of the recent complaint about wrongdoing.

He stated that during the review, Nair's behavior was found to be inconsistent with the company's boundaries.

Ford President and CEO Jim Hackett said, "We made this decision after a thorough review and good discussions.

In another statement, Nair expressed regret for the incident.


Nayar said, "I am really sorry that on some occasions I have not behaved like a leader who respects the principles of the company and whose approval I am. My Ford Motor Company has total trust in people and I wish them success in the future. Nayyar has been North America's President North America since June 1, 2017.

The Ford company says that Nair's place will be announced in the near future.
