South African President Jacob Zuma resigns after allegations of corruption


South African President Jacob Zuma resigned from his post on Wednesday. Before resigning, Zuma gave an address on behalf of the country through television. In this address, he announced the resignation. Zuma is believed to have resigned due to growing pressure to resign from Vice President Cyril Ramphosa, and it is important that Juma, 75, has been in power since 2009.


While in power, he faces many accusations of corruption. They are told that they have also decided to resign because of these allegations. Before resigning, Zuma gave a long speech to the nation. In his speech, he said he was very hurt by the way the ANC deals with him. According to media reports, Ms. Zuma said in her speech that she feared no confidence motions. He also said that I have served the people of South Africa with my full potential.


The violence and division of the ANC forced me to resign. He said that I do not want anyone to die because of me and separate from the ANC. That's why I decided to resign from the presidential position.

He said that although I do not agree with the leadership decision of my organization. I have always been a disciplined member of the ANC. I will continue to serve the people of South Africa and the ANC even after leaving the post.
