US cuts $ 1 million aid to Pakistan

Washington: US President Donald Trump has presented an annual budget of $ 4 trillion for fiscal year 2019 starting October 1. The United States has cut $ 1 million in aid to Pakistan. In the budget, the Trump government has proposed cutting back aid to Pakistan. There is a proposal to help Pakistan to $ 336 million in the budget. $ 256 million for civil assistance and $ 8 million for military assistance.

However, the United States has imposed a condition with the help of Pakistan. The budget proposal states that if Pakistan stops acting on terrorist organizations, then the United States will stop helping immediately. Recently, the Trump administration stopped aid of $ 200 million because of not taking action against terrorist organizations.

'
This proposal for Pakistan came a few weeks after the Trump administration halted security assistance of nearly two billion US dollars. The United States took this step because it did not restrict terrorist activities on the Pakistani side.

The White House said it would consider removing the ban on the ban when it thought Pakistan was acting against terrorist organizations. According to the budget proposal, military assistance will depend on Pakistan's action against the hiding places of terrorists.
