Mysore: The Karnataka elections will be held two months later and Prime Minister Modi was present Monday in Mysore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team found no place to stay in a famous hotel because all rooms were reserved. In fact, almost all the rooms of the famous Lalit Mahal Palace hotel in Mysore were reserved for a wedding ceremony. The district administration then organized for the PM and his staff at another luxury hotel in the city.

Hotel Manager Joseph Mathias told PTI, "An officer from the Deputy Commissioner's office came to reserve the room for his staff, including the Prime Minister and the security staff, but we could not do it. Were the books. Mathias said PM Modi was supposed to come here Sunday night when there was a wedding reception. He said we only had three rooms available that were not enough for them.

He said: "Considering the security reasons, it was not advisable to reserve just three rooms for such a huge staff. However, the district administration has arranged an alternative. PM Modi went to the Radisson Blue Hotel, where he stayed Sunday night and Monday. It is said that the hotel management also referred to security reasons and asked a business family to change the timing of the wedding reception so that it was done before the arrival of the prime minister.
