 All the 106 people who were stranded in Chinchoti Falls in Palghar in Maharashtra have been rescued, but a man named Bhavesh Gupta of Kandivli has died. The body of Bhavesh has been taken away. There were 107 people trapped in the water due to the intense flow of water. Naval helicopter help received relief and rescue work.

Giving this information, the police said that relief operations are in progress to save the stranded people. An official said that the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), fire brigade and local police teams have saved about 100 other people. This waterfall, considered to be a popular destination among tourists during the monsoon, is situated in the Tungeshwar forest area 70 kilometers away. The official said, "The area was raining continuously since morning since the people were trapped and relief and rescue work was also interrupted.
