Kolkata: Those interested in space and astronomy will be able to see two important astronomical phenomena this month. This month, Mars will be so close to our earth that it can be seen with a naked eye while the longest lunar eclipse of the century will be found on large parts of the earth. The full moon eclipse of one hour and 43 minutes will be on the night of 27-28 of this month. This astronomical phenomenon can be seen in large parts of the world, including India. Lunar eclipse in India will start from July 11 at 11:54 pm Indian time.

According to Devprasad Dwari, research and academic director of the MP Birla Institute of Fundamental Research, it will be the longest lunar eclipse of this century. Dwari said that only four days later, millions of people in the world will see another spectacular astronomical event.

He commented that on July 31, the distance between Mars and Earth will be 5.76 million kilometers. This will be the first time since 2003 when the red planet is so close to the Earth. During that time the distance between these two planets was 5.57 crores. Dwari told that on that night, the whole country will be able to make the moon light with naked eyes.
