Amritsar train accident
Railways have rejected the charge that the train was not stopped after the accident. Firozpur DRM Vivek Kumar said that after seeing the crowd, the speed of the train was reduced from 91 kms to 68 kms, but it was not possible to stop the train suddenly.

Amritsar train accident is very painful. In 10 to 12 seconds, a train was given a speed of 100 and the 60 people who saw Ravana combustion went bite. Apart from administrative carelessness in this incident, the question of the railway administration is also being raised. The question is, despite seeing such a huge crowd, why did the loco pilot not reduce the speed of the train?

Among these questions, the railway has given a clean chit to the railway driver. Firozpur DRM Vivek Kumar has clearly stated that the loco pilot had to take the steps he should have taken in such a condition. The DRM said that there is a winding turn where the accident occurred, but the light of the train was going straight from the engine. He further said that as soon as the train driver appeared to the people, he reduced the speed of the train.

According to an instrument recording speed in the train, the speed of the train at 91 km was reduced to 68 kilometers at the time of the incident. But the train was not stopped in the security of the passenger sitting in the train.

The DRM said Vivek Kumar said that after the accident, the speed of the train was reduced to 7 to 8 km per kilometer. According to the DRM, the stone pelting occurred on the train during this time. Then the guard told the railway driver that stop the train here could be dangerous to protect the passengers. That's why the driver did not stop the train there, and the train was brought straight to Amritsar. Vivek Kumar said that the train driver is in the safety of the railway at this time. DRM Vivek Kumar also dismissed the claim of Congress leader Navjot Sidhu in which he had said that the horn in the train is not the same.
