There is a five-match ODI series between India and the West Indies. The second ODI, played on October 24, has been shifted from Indore.

The second ODI of the five-match series between India and the West Indies will be played at Visakhapatnam's Dr. YS Rajshekhar Reddy at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium. The BCCI announced this on Wednesday.

Earlier this ODI was scheduled to be played at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore on October 24.

The ODI series against the West Indies is as follows:

October 21: 1st ODI - Guwahati

October 24: Second ODI - Visakhapatnam

October 27: Third ODI - Pune

October 29: Fourth ODI - Mumbai

November 1: Fifth ODI - Thiruvananthapuram

What was the case-

The match has been shifted from Indore after news of the problem of distribution of free passes (complimentary tickets) between BCCI and Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA).

According to the new constitution of the BCCI, only 10 percent of the total viewer capacity of any stadium in the country can be distributed free of cost to the sponsors and others.

Indore's Holkar Stadium has a capacity of around 27,000 people, including tickets from all categories, including pavilion blocks and galleries. According to the provision, MPCA can distribute a maximum of 2,700 free tickets.

MPCA secretary had said that there are about 7,200 seats in the pavilion block of Holkar Stadium. Therefore, according to the fixed format, we will not be able to arrange more than 720 free tickets. We also have to meet the demands of tickets for our members and various government agencies.

After the issue was not resolved soon, the BCCI decided to organize this match in another city (Visakhapatnam).
