Maruti Suzuki is ready to launch its affordable hatchback Wagon R in the Indian market early next year. The Japanese company's popular toll-boy hatchback will be from the Korean Tall-Boy hatchback Hyundai Santro in the market. According to today's era, many types of features are not available in the current Wagon R compared to the rest of the hatchback.

This car was last updated in 2013. There has not been any change since then. In time, it is time that the updates should be made in this. The company has informed that around 18,000 units of Wagon R are sold every month. New updates will be given in Wagon R with a new design. According to some reports, new HEARTECT platform will not be given in the new Wagon R.

Combat Wagon R will be specially from the Hyundai Santro. That is, these hatchbacks can be found to look similar to Santro. In this case, there will be standard ABS and dual-airbags in all variants of Maruti Suzuki Wagon R.

At the same time, top models can be given touchscreen entertainment system, climate control, steering mounted control, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, electronic ORVMs, power windows and many such features. Apart from Dual Airbags ABS and EBD in the new Wagon R, features such as break assist and reverse parking sensors can also be given. At present, nothing has been said about any of these features from the company.

In the coming new car, there will be some slight changes in the design. Speaking of the engine, according to reports, this car will have a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine given in the Alto K10 model. This engine generates a power of 67bhp and a pickup torque of 90Nm. There will be a 5-speed manual for transmission or two options of 5-speed AGS transmission.

Since the HEARTECT platform is not being given in the new car, the mileage will be somewhere around 20kmpl, like the current Wagon R. After the launch of the new car, it will compete with Hyundai Santro, Renault Kwid, Tata Tiago, Datsun Go and Celerio.
