A video on social media is becoming viral, claiming that Putin has been shown a video of Rahul Gandhi's mockery on behalf of Prime Minister Modi. However, the India Today Fact check team has found this video framed in its investigation.

Did Prime Minister Narendra Modi try to ridicule Mr. President Vladimir Putin for his recent visit to India by showing a pinch of video to Rahul Gandhi?

A Twitter user has posted a video, claiming that Putin is being shown Rahul Gandhi's video on behalf of Prime Minister Modi. Many of these Union ministers follow PM Narendra Modi, including the Twitter user. The INDIA TODAY Fact Check team has found this video framed in its investigation.

It is alleged that PM Modi has been accused of showing Rahul Gandhi's video to Russian President Putin. Sharma has written together, "Russia President Putin could not even laughed, see what Modi is showing in mobile?"

In this 22-second video, it can be seen that Modi is showing a mobile clip to Putin, in which Rahul Gandhi can also be seen. In the last frame of the video, Putin appears to laugh with his face covered with hands.

This post has been shared more than 400 times and hundreds of people have already been hooked. There are more than a million followers on DK Sharma's Twitter. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan can also be seen following the Twitter handle @ VictoryForNamo sharing this Twitter video. It looks like a very active account.

More than 50 tweets have been made in 24 hours. In most tweets and re-tweets, Rahul Gandhi and Congress have been targeted. When the keywords were searched on the Internet with Putin, Modi and Video, the INDIA TODAY Fact Check team found the original video, which was tweeted by the Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravi Kumar on October 5, 2018.

In the Prime Minister's video, Putin was showing 'Vaishnava Jan' Bhajan, sung by Russian artist Sati Kazanova. The Prime Minister showed this video to Putin during his lunch at New Delhi in his honor.

The original video is 25 seconds. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj can also be seen sitting with others in the video. From where on the frame taken from the shoulder to the PM screen of PM Modi, it can be seen from that in the frame, Rahul Gandhi is not a woman but a woman. The original video does not end with Putin's laughing frame.
