The West Indies team is on a tour of India. He will play a series of 2 Test matches. The first Test will be played in Rajkot from October 4, while the second Test will be played in Hyderabad from October 12.

Prior to the Test series, Sunil Amberish's unbeaten century in the practice match has boosted the West Indies. West Indies declared 366 runs for seven wickets against the Board President XI in a two-day practice match and finished the innings.

25-year-old Ambareesh, who has only two Test matches, scored an unbeaten 114 in 98 balls with 17 fours and five sixes. With this, he strengthened his claim for the first Test match in Rajkot starting on October 4.

Craig Braithwaite (52) and Kieran Powell (44) gave West Indies a fantastic start by sharing 105 runs. Shane Hope scored 36 and wicketkeeper Shane Doverich scored 65.

For Board President XI, fast bowler Amesh Khan took four wickets for 60 runs while left-arm spinner Saurav Kumar got two successes. Board President XI declared Maunag Agarwal's 90-run knock as 360 for six wickets in the first innings.
