Royal Enfield launched its Thunderbird 500X ABS model in the Indian market. This new bike equipped with ABS has been priced 2.60 lakh (On-Road, Mumbai).
The booking for the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X has been started on all the dealers across the country. Interested customers can book it with a token amount of 5,000 rupees and if the customer want to cancel the booking then all the money will be returned.
Overall design of Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X ABS will remain the same. Only Dual Channel ABS has been added as a new feature. With ABS joining the motorcycle's breaking performance will improve.
Speaking mechanically, Thunderbird 500X has a 499cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. These engines generate power of 27bhp and pickup torque of 41 nm. This engine has been connected with the 5-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield Thunderbird will come with 500X ABS 41mm telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged shock absorbers in the rear. Also tell you, the company has given alloy wheels and tubeless tires in this motorcycle. In the front for breaking has been given 280mm disc and 240mm disc in rear.
This bike is the street-based version of the regular Thunderbird 500. These motorcycles will be available in two color variants - Drifter Blue and Gateway Orange. Compared to Standard Version, 500X comes with more sporty riding positions, new flat handbars and split gab rails.
