Noida international airport to be built by PPP mode, 4500 crore approval for land acquisition
Construction of Noida International Airport will be done in public-private-partnership (PPP) mode.

 Construction of Noida International Airport will be done in public-private-partnership (PPP) mode. Uttar Pradesh administration said on Saturday that after the approval of the state cabinet, civil aviation department has issued a government order. At the beginning of this week's Cabinet meeting, it was decided that the acquisition of land acquired by Noida International Airport Ltd. (NAIL) will be given on lease of 90 years and the power to select the developer also will be with this. An official told IANS that six villages - Bajawata Razawaha, Rajwaha, Dayanatpur Rajwah, Kishrapur Alpika and Pathavaya Nala - will be transferred to another place for the construction of the airport.

Irrigation Department will complete the process of transferring villages. The state government has given financial and administrative approval of Rs 4,500 crore for the acquisition of 1,239.14 hectares of land at a rate of Rs 2,300 per meter. If there is any government land in the land marked for the construction of the airport then it will be transferred for free. The state government has also asked officials to create primary and secondary schools at the new place for the children of families removed from the acquired land for the airport. Chief Secretary Anoop Chandra Pandey has also instructed the Women and Child Welfare Department to make a new 'Anganwadi' center.
