With the help of banks, liquor baron Vijay Mallya, once again, pointed out the action taken against him on the BJP as a target of mischief. Vijay Mallya tweeted that when the Prime Minister Modi himself said that his government has recovered more than the bank's debt from me, then why are the BJP spokespersons constantly making statements against me? Mallya has tweeted it twice on Sunday morning.

Vijay Mallya's first tweet was on the statement of PM Modi, who had recently given a TV channel interview. Mallya tweeted, "I saw the Prime Minister's interview in which he takes my name and says that even though the banks have over 9000 crore of rupees on Vijay Mallya, their government has seized the property of his 14 thousand crore rupees. Now when the Prime Minister has just confirmed the full recovery. Then why are BJP spokespersons continuing their rhetoric?

In the next tweet, Vijay Mallya wrote, "I humbly accept this claim that the statement of PM Modi about me proves that in this whole matter I am a poster boy. The amount of money that was banked on me, has been done by their government. Mallya said that I have been living in the UK since 1992. Let me tell the fugitive in such a way that BJP looks okay.

It is noteworthy that on March 27, the ED had seized the shares of United Breweries Holdings Limited (UBHL) of Vijay Mallya and seized it. In this sales process, the ED gets Rs. 1,008 crore. ED seized these shares for money laundering investigation against Mallya. These shares were with YES Bank. Even before this, the government has confiscated properties of several crores of Mallya. Vijay Mallya is currently in London and the extradition proceedings are going on for bringing him to India. He is facing ED and CBI inquiry into the Rs 9,000-crore debt fraud case with the bank.
