Actress Emilia Clarke and actor John Bradley-West, known for their roles as Daenerys Targaryen and Samwell Tarly in Game of Thrones, have posted on their Instagram profiles farewell to the series.
"The episode of the mother of dragons has occupied my entire adult life," commented Clarke, accompanying the text with an image in which several key actors of the final season appear. "This woman has stolen my heart, I have sweated in the dragon fire, shed tears for the members of this family that left us before time and I have squeezed my brain trying to do justice to Khaleesi, as well as his wise words and Actions.
The actress continued her farewell by referring to her father, who died in 2016, as well as the fans. "Game of Thrones has shaped me as a woman, as an actress, and as a human being, I just wish my father were here to see how far we have come, to you, dear fans, I owe you a lot and I thank you for everything".
For his part, John Bradley-West showed the texts he had to prepare in his first week of filming in the first season, where he knew Kit Harrington.
"Today we have our last episode," wrote the actor. "It's the final step of a long and fantastic trip, a trip that started for me at 10 in the morning on Monday, July 19, 2010. I know this because I recently found my calendar for the first week of the first season. I got this when I arrived in Belfast for the first time, weeks before we started shooting, here is the first meeting I had with Kit and the first time I wore the suit I've worn for eight seasons.
Other actors and actresses also went to social networks to say goodbye to this adventure of legend. Here we see Kristofer Hivju (Tormund), Richard Madden (Robb Stark) and Gwendoline Christie in their own publications.
