VENOM IN SPIDERMAN 3 |
The same insider who last year uncovered several plot details of Avengers: Endgame, which proved true when the movie hit theaters, now says that Sony does not want Deadpool in the sequel to Spider-Man: Far from home, then their place desperately seeks Venom.
It is commented in the same way that Deadpool will continue to operate outside of the main MCU films as it did when it was in the hands of Fox, not appearing at any time in films of the X-Men.
It should not cost Sony much to reunite Tom Holland and Tom Hardy, after all, they have the rights to their licenses and although they had set out to create their own universe of films with Venom and other villains, nothing prevents them from merging it with Spider-Man beyond the complexity of not altering anything of the MCU of Marvel Studios.
There are no plans to add Deadpool in an MCU Spider-Man 3, but Sony desperately wants Tom Hardy's Venom in this movie. Deadpool had his own movies but never showed up in the main X-Men films, it will be the same for the MCU.— Roger Wardell (@RogerWardell) May 27, 2019
At the moment we should not expect the cinematic universe created by Sony Pictures to join the Kevin Feige team in the short term, so these rumors will take a long time to be confirmed if they are true.
