The renowned Andy Serkis is the latest actor that rumors put in a role yet to be determined in Matt Reeves' The Batman and his possible signing is not at all unreasonable.
The director of this new work for Warner Bros. Pictures has already directed The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War of the Planet of the Apes, two films in which Serkis played the no less iconic Caesar.
The information is shared by Batman On Film, who claims to have heard that Serkis is close to getting a role in the production according to two sources unrelated to each other.
The medium speculates with the role that the actor could play and points to Penguin, the classic villain of the universe Batman, although the truth is that it is still early to elucubrate in this direction. Still, Cobblepott is one of the villains that, according to rumors, will appear in the film.
