After seeing at the end of Avengers: Endgame many were those who speculated on the possibility that the title of the new installment of Guardians of the Galaxy was Asgardians of the Galaxy in reference to the new team of space heroes.
James Gunn wanted to make it clear that this will not be the case and that the fans who feared for that play on words have nothing to worry about, because he will not use it as a title.
The funny thing is that there is a series of comics that use this same title, so the fears of the fans were based and it was not crazy to think about it. At the moment it is not the case.
There is still much left until the third part of Guardians of the Galaxy goes ahead considering that James Gunn is currently focused on taking forward Suicide Squad for Warner and DC.
