Action against 1,306 persons for violation of quarantine rules in Rajasthan
State-level quarantine management committee chairperson Veenu Gupta said that quarantine rules have been violated so far by 1306 persons, out of which 604 have been shifted from home quarantine to government or institutional quarantine.

Rajasthan government has taken action against 1306 people so far, taking strict steps against those who break the 14-day quarantine rule. State-level quarantine management committee chairperson Vinoo Gupta said that quarantine rules have been violated so far by 1306 persons, out of which 604 have been shifted from home quarantine to government or institutional quarantine. Apart from this, action has been taken against 702 people for giving notice, imposing penalty and lodging FIR. Gupta told that at present more than 21 thousand people are in institutional quarantine while more than 4.75 lakh people are in quarantine in homes.

Additional Chief Secretary said that people who are following the quarantine rules in their homes are also being closely monitored. Those violating these rules are explained for the first time. Even after this, if the rules are broken by them, then they are sent to the institutional quarantine. He said that gram panchayat buildings, school buildings, etc. are being used for institutional quarantine and there are currently 10 thousand 212 quarantine centers in the state.

Gupta said that a large number of migrant workers have arrived in Pali, Udaipur, Jalore, Nagaur, and Dungarpur districts. Jalore, Pali, Nagaur, Hanumangarh, and Barmer districts have more people who live in quarantine in their homes whereas Nagaur, Rajsamand, Jhunjhunu, Chittorgarh, and Churu districts have more number of people with institutional quarantine.
