With the MCU gradually saying goodbye to the heroes of the first hour, some fans feared that Chris Hemsworth would also give his farewell performance with "Thor 4". But that is not the case.
Chris Hemsworth made it clear in an interview that "Thor 4: Love And Thunder" will not be his last appearance on the MCU. To the men's magazine ELLE Man, he replied to such a question only: "Are you crazy? I'm not retiring. Thor is still far too young for it. I am only 1,500 years old. This is definitely not the movie I say 'goodbye' to this brand."
But he still makes a small caveat: "At least I hope so", still points out that his future, in the end, is of course also a big part to the decision of the MCU managers around mastermind Kevin Feige.
Nevertheless, we can assume that Chris Hemsworth will remain, Thor – especially since an appearance in "Guardians Of The Galaxy 3" already seems very possible. Fans who are worried that after Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America and the imminent departure of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow with Hemsworth, the next hero of the first hour will be reassured.
CHRIS HEMSWORTH LOVES "THOR 4: LOVE AND THUNDER"
In addition, in the interview with ELLE Man, he shows a lot of enthusiasm for "Thor: Love And Thunder" and says, among other things: "After reading the script, I'm really excited. Of course, I can't tell you anything about the plot, but to satisfy your curiosity, I tell you that I had a lot more fun reading the script than I did with 'Thor: Decision Day' and that proves a lot because this movie was brilliant.
"Thor 4: Love And Thunder" is again directed by Taika Waititi, who was already responsible for the said "Thor 3". The currently scheduled Indian cinema release is on February 10, 2022.
