Superstar Rajinikanth's movie Jailer was a huge hit at the box office and collected Rs. 650 crores collected. The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, catapulted the director to stardom. It is known that the sequel of this successful film has been announced.
Recently, Yogi Babu, who played a comic role in the Jailer movie, shared an exciting update about the Jailer 2 movie. In an interview, Nelson revealed that he is currently working on the pre-production of the Jailer 2 movie and is making a comedy track for himself and Rajinikanth, similar to the first film. He also mentioned that an official announcement about the sequel will be made soon.

Rajinikanth's Vettayaan is slated to release in October 2024 and he is currently busy shooting Cooley, which is aiming to release next year.
